Sick Leave Policy for Marriott Hungary
You’ll need to provide a doctor’s note to your manager to be eligible for paid sick leave through your social security payments.
Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Leave
Associates in Hungary can claim up to 168 days of maternity leave following the birth of their child. If required, they can then apply for up to three years of unpaid leave. Mothers can access the same leave allowance when adopting. Paternity leave is 10 paid working days.

Our associates can eat one free main meal per shift in the staff canteen, plus breakfast if applicable, when they’re on duty with us.
Uniform Policy in Hungary
You’ll usually need to wear a uniform for front-of-house roles where you deal with guests directly, in which case we’ll provide you with one. We don’t usually provide uniforms for back-of-house positions.
