Salary Payment in Malawi
We pay associate salaries in arrears on a monthly basis in accordance with local minimum wage requirements. Our interns receive a stipend during their time with us.
Pay For Night Shifts & Overtime
We don’t have a separate payment policy for night-shift work. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the normal daily rate on a standard week day, or twice the daily rate on a weekend or a public holiday.
Reference checks For Applicants in Malawi
Our routine approach is to check employment or education references, as well as run a police record check, before confirming a job offer in Malawi.

In general, our new associates are asked to complete a medical check before joining our team.
On-Duty Meals
We provide two meals for our hotel associates while they are on shift, usually breakfast and lunch.

Ways of Working in Malawi
Associates in Malawi work a maximum of 48 hours per week. We work with full-time and fixed-term contracts. We don’t currently offer flexible working in Malawi.
