EMEA Voyage Program Highlights

The Voyage Program is typically 12–18 months long in EMEA. As a Voyager, you’ll get:

  • On-the-job, immersive training in your chosen discipline
  • Mini-departmental rotations to gain experience in other areas of hospitality
  • Training and assignments from the Voyage curriculum, so you can learn specific discipline and departmental training
  • Monthly feedback sessions with your property coach
  • Quarterly feedback sessions with your property champion
  • The opportunity to learn from senior leaders and coaches within Marriott International
  • The chance to network and collaborate with Marriott colleagues around the world
  • Access to a global community where your impact is noticed and your voice is heard

What’s more, when your Voyage time is over, you’ll have the flexibility to apply for roles in other departments, rather than stay on one fixed career path. The world of Marriott is your oyster!

Who can apply to the EMEA Voyage Program?

To be eligible for the Marriott Voyage Program in EMEA, you must have:

  • Graduated from a university or hotel school within the two years prior to starting the program
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher-level education qualification (an associate’s degree is accepted for culinary placements)

What’s the EMEA Voyage Program application process?

  1. Fill in your details and kick off your Voyage application.
  2. 15 minutes after you submit your application, you’ll receive an email prompt to complete a pre-recorded video interview, answering questions like, “why do you want to work for us?” and “what skills make you qualified for this position?” Dress as you would for an in-person interview and tell us about yourself.
  3. Next up is a management assessment. We’ll review your responses against our management core competencies. You’ll also be invited to tell us which disciplines and locations you’d prefer to work in.
  4. We’ll then invite you to either a virtual or in-person Voyage Discovery Day. You’ll get to meet other voyage candidates and the Voyage Hiring Team.
  5. The final interview will be at the property we think you’re a great fit for, where you’ll have the chance to meet the hotel team.
