Accommodation in Ghana
As a staff member at one of our Ghana hotels, you may be eligible for hotel accommodation. Note that this is only available for single people living alone. We don’t provide a living allowance.
Ghana Language Requirements
A good working knowledge of English is very useful in hospitality in Ghana, but you won’t need to demonstrate advanced proficiency for our back-of-house positions. Check out the job description for details of any other required languages.

Marriott employees in Ghana receive an allowance of leave each year (usually 18 days), which they can use for holidays or other trips.
Sick Leave Policy for Marriott Ghana
Our Ghana-based employees can use up to 15 working days of paid sick leave if they’re unwell. Staff may need to show a medical certificate.
Maternity & Paternity Leave
Marriott associates in Ghana can get 12 weeks of maternity leave on full pay. Paternity leave is five working days from the birth of the child, and can be taken for a maximum of three children. We don’t currently have an adoption leave policy.

Ways of Working in Ghana
Our standard working arrangement in Ghana is 40 hours a week, or 160 hours over four weeks. We usually offer full-time year-long contracts that can be renewed. We don’t currently offer flexible or remote working at our hotels in Ghana.
