Citizens of EU countries, European Economic Area members and Switzerland don’t need a permit to work in Poland. If you fall outside of that, you’ll need a visa and a work permit.

Annual Leave in Poland
Annual leave for Marriott employees in Poland is partly calculated by how many proven years of employment you can demonstrate (this can be outside Marriott). Any years of higher education also count towards this.
- Less than 10 years of employment/higher education: 20 days of annual leave
- 10 or more years of employment/higher education: 26 days of annual leave
Sick Leave Policy for Marriott Poland
If you’re too unwell to work, or if you’ve suffered an injury, you can access paid sick leave. The amount of leave will vary depending on your condition.
Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Leave
Marriott Poland employees may be eligible for maternity, paternity or adoption leave allowances, as determined by local law. Ask our hiring team if you’re interested in knowing more.
Relocation Support to Poland
Our associates are generally responsible for relocating themselves, although our HR teams are here to support new starters if they have any questions.
Salary Payment
We comply with local minimum wage requirements and salaries are paid on a monthly basis. Interns who join us through four-week school programs will be unpaid.
Pay For Night Shifts & Overtime
Our night shift work is typically paid at a higher rate and some associates are eligible for overtime.
Reference Checks in Poland
We won’t need to do a full reference check for new starters in Poland, but we will need proof of previous employment in order to calculate your holiday allowance.
On-Duty Meals
We provide on-duty meals for our hotel associates in Poland. They are usually required to pay a small contribution to cover the tax on each meal.

Our full-time associates typically work 40 hours per week. We offer several contract options, including full-time, part-time, fixed-term and casual contracts to suit a range of needs.
